Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Radiation Effects Engineer II to work on radiation hardness assurance for space systems. Ideal candidates will have a BS degree and at least 6 years of experience in space product development.

You will conduct tests, manage environmental simulations, and advise on hardware and software practices. Full-time roles include stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of space product experience.
• Direct experience with responsibilities listed.
• Experience with automotive and commercial grade parts.

Responsibilities

• Own aspects of Radiation Hardness Assurance Plan.
• Simulate radiation environments using OMERE.
• Plan and conduct radiation tests on components.
