Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Radar Subject Matter Expert to join the Army-focused S&T efforts at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The role involves mentoring engineers, guiding radar concepts, and shaping radar processing algorithms for ISR, SAR, MTI and CTA missions within a premier government contracting environment.

You will collaborate with government and contractor teams, prepare technical briefs, and support system development with an active Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics or similar field, with 15+ years in radar
• Experience conducting technical training and mentoring in radar topics
• Ability to prepare reports, briefings, drawings, schedules and performance specs for senior management
• Active Secret clearance to start with eligibility for DoD TS/SCI; U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise, mentoring and advice to government and contractor engineers
• Lead research and development of radar concepts, processing techniques and test methods
• Influence radar system design, algorithms, and data processing for ISR, SAR, MTI, and CTA missions
• Prepare technical documentation and present results to senior management
