Job summary

SAIC in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Radar Engineer to join the STARS OSM Software Development Team. You will provide MDS Sensor modeling to support warfighter training and exercises, on-site at Redstone Arsenal with a multi-contractor team.

The role requires applying radar knowledge, simulations, and software development using MATLAB/Python/C++. Active Secret Clearance is required and collaboration with government customers and industry partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience required, or 4 years with degree.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Experience with radar systems, simulations, and electronic warfare preferred within defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform radar systems analysis and root-cause identification for issues; simplify real-time radar algorithms and document results for briefings.
• Develop and guide MATLAB/Python analysis tools; ensure interoperability across tools and teams.
• Work daily on-site at a government customer facility on a multi-contractor team and interact with industry partners and the government.
