Job summary
Our Company is seeking a Senior Radar Engineer to join the STARS Planner Software Development Team. You will drive radar model implementations and evolve warfighter training and planning tools in a Java-based platform, integrating high‑fidelity data and physics‑based models to enhance battlespace awareness.
You will design radar simulations, interfaces, and capabilities, and contribute to verification tooling and defense system evaluations, leveraging Python, Java, and MATLAB to support critical
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- 9+ years of experience with radar systems, simulations, and electronic warfare, preferably in the defense sector.
- Extensive experience in Python, Java, and MATLAB.
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute radar simulations using Python, Java, and MATLAB to support programmatic decisions.
- Design radar features and interfaces to be included in the Planner software.
- Research radar capabilities to represent in the FBM Planner toolset.
- Support Software product development by creating tooling for behavior validation.
- Support radar design reviews and conduct technical evaluations for defense systems.
