The Advanced Airborne RF Sensors department within the Space and Airborne Systems Engineering and Test Capability (SE&TC) Center is seeking a Senior Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, analysis, and integration of complex radar systems.

Your contributions will include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost, risk, and supportability assessments for advanced airborne RF systems.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, analyzing large datasets, conducting functional and timeline analyses, and translating customer requirements into accurate hardware and software specifications.

The role requires converting product requirements into effective system solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints, as well as supporting new system designs and existing system sustainment.

This position involves regular collaboration with subject matter experts across software, systems, reliability, and test disciplines.

Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential for understanding system operations and presenting well‑supported technical solutions.

This position is an onsite role in Plano, Texas.

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance within one year.
  • Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Software project management experience (preferred but not required).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tool suite and MATLAB.
  • Unix/Linux and C++.
