CHAOS Industries is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our radar-focused R&D and product engineering teams. You will lead and collaborate across multiple capabilities, shaping software for next-generation radar systems and deployment on COTS hardware.

Candidates bring 5+ years in object-oriented software, strong Python, Linux expertise, and hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. U.S. Person status is required for access to U.S.-only data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional, object-oriented software development.
• Extensive Python experience and Linux proficiency.
• Experience with Agile lifecycles including Scrum and CI/CD.
• U.S. Person status required for access to U.S.-only data systems.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and deploy software for next-generation radar products.
• Support software integration on COTS hardware and customer deployments.
• Collaborate across multiple product capabilities in a highly team-driven environment.
• Support system integration and hands-on field support as needed.
