CHAOS Industries is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our R&D and product engineering teams, focusing on next-generation radar products. The role offers collaboration across multiple product families and opportunities to broaden skills within an innovative defense tech company.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in object-oriented software development, strong Python, and Linux expertise, plus Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps experience. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
5+ years of professional, object-oriented software development experience.
Extensive Python experience.
Experience with Agile lifecycle processes including Scrum, CI, and TDD.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
Solid understanding of software development on Linux.

Responsibilities

Research & Development and Production software development for radar products.
Support system integration of software on hardware (COTS).
Support deployed software capabilities for U.S. and international customers.
