Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Virginia seeks a systems engineer to support NSCWDD’s Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems programs, providing expertise across the acquisition lifecycle for US Navy and USMC radar systems such as DBR, G/ATOR, SPY-1 and SPY-6.

You will help plan engineering strategies, perform technical analysis, develop tests, and contribute to system specifications and data analysis. Field and lab work on ships or at dry docks may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent certification.
• Experience with radar/sensor systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in field and laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide sensor systems expertise across the acquisition lifecycle for US Navy and US Marine Corps radar programs.
• Plan and execute engineering strategies for requirements, design verification and project plans.
• Deliver technical analysis and systems engineering support for architecture, interoperability, and specifications.
• Develop test and evaluation documentation and laboratory test plans for SW/MW articles.
• Draft system/subsystem specifications ensuring consistency with current architectures.
• Support signal processing activities and data collection to assess performance.
• Conduct field or lab work on ships or in non-office environments as required.
