Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a staff-level Systems Engineer to develop, enhance, and implement radar data processing algorithms into the System Bench MATLAB model for Space Radar Payload programs in a classified environment.

As a member of the System Bench team you will advance RADAR modes and capabilities for space applications, perform rigorous testing, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to deliver mission-ready solutions on-site.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 12 years relevant experience or 10 years with MS or 7 years with PhD.
• RF (Radio Frequency) Signal Processing, ideally for RADAR, but for SIGINT, EW and/or COMMS is acceptable.
• MATLAB programming experience.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and implement RADAR data processing algorithms into the System Bench MATLAB model for Space Radar Payload programs.
• Develop and implement algorithms for RADAR data processing and exploitation for new RADAR modes and capabilities for Space applications.
