Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr R&D Technician (Finance) in Colorado Springs to support development, testing, and validation of advanced electronic hardware. The role blends electronics lab work, RF/microwave testing, and mechanical fabrication, with on-site duties on a 9/80 schedule.

You will build cable harnesses, inspect CCAs, perform RF tests, and generate technical reports under engineer supervision. Minimal travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to build cable harnesses, inspect CCAs, and follow test procedures.
• Experience with RF and microwave testing in a lab environment.
• Ability to solder fine pitch components and hand-solder PCB work.

Responsibilities

• Capable of building cable harnesses (crimp, solder, heat shrink).
• Inspect CCAs for defects and archive photos.
• Perform RF and microwave electrical testing to validate product compliance.
• Set up and calibrate test equipment (network analyzers, generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Generate and assemble technical test reports.
• Follow safety policies and perform safety trainings.
