General Mills is seeking a Sr. R&D Statistical Scientist to join the Data Science & Modeling team within ITQ. You will solve problems in product development, nutrition research, and quality, transforming data into actionable insights that drive business results.

You will mentor statisticians globally, build models in Python/R, and scale analytics using cloud platforms. A strong communication and collaboration mindset is essential for partnering with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as statistical scientist, statistician, or related role.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience with SQL, R, Python, and cloud-based analytics environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide statistical consultation in experimental design and analysis.
• Train and coach statisticians across the global team.
• Develop statistical and machine learning models in Python, R, or other tools.
• Translate analyses into actionable insights and recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with R&D and ITQ teams to address data-driven challenges.
