This role blends strong scientific expertise with increasing leadership responsibility, mentoring technologists and driving strategic initiatives. This position partners with Marketing, Consumer Insights, Engineering, Operations, and more to balance feasibility with business needs, uphold safety and quality, and accelerate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in food product development, research, or process development.
• Proven ability to lead multiple complex development projects through commercialization.
• Ability to leverage consumer insights to guide technical decisions.
• Strong understanding of experimental design, formulation, and scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Develop formulations, prototypes, processing strategies, and specs for safety and quality.
• Lead technical risk assessment and mitigation for programs.
• Design experiments and interpret results to guide recommendations.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to enable readiness and launches.
• Coach and mentor technologists and interns; support onboarding and skill development.
