Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a technical leader to drive projects across our North American Elevate Growth Team. You will identify, scope, and execute highly technical initiatives to meet innovation goals, applying scientific principles and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires strong communication and leadership to manage multiple assignments with minimal guidance, ensuring successful commercial outcomes and assembly of test results into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Food Science or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Solid understanding of food chemistry, analytical testing, formulations and processing used in food manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, influencing, project management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize new products and renovate existing products across the Sauces & Condiments portfolio.
• Scope and/or drive highly technical and complex projects to meet platform and innovation objectives.
• Lead junior developers on projects when opportunities arise.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, prototype development, costing, factory trials, recipe and label development, technical approval, shelf-life assessment and initial production support.
