Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, R&D Quality, to join our QA function within RDQ. The role partners with process owners to translate business needs into analytics, dashboards, and quality solutions that improve compliance and decision-making.

Expect collaboration across IM and MedTech and opportunities to impact inspection readiness. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data analytics in pharma/biotech, strong SQL/PBI/Tableau/Python skills, and experience turning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in data analytics, management, or similar.
• Experience gathering reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into delivered reports.
• Experience with data modeling and building or maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with ability to present results to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with metric and process owners to understand business challenges and define reporting requirements.
• Operate monthly and quarterly metrics cycle including extraction, validation, calculation and publication.
• Support inspection readiness through trend analysis and rapid evidence generation.
• Build and maintain dashboards, data pipelines, data models, reconciliations and data dictionaries using SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Evaluate emerging analytics and AI-enabled capabilities against real RDQ use cases; build proofs of concept.
• Develop user guides and training to drive adoption of delivered solutions; support office hours.
• Coordinate with offshore and vendor developers to deliver solutions and verify outputs.
• Prepare leadership-ready summaries and presentations interpreting results for actionable insights.
