Job summary

JBAndrews has partnered with a public Building Products manufacturer and seeks a Senior R&D Process Engineer for a facility in Sikeston, MO. You will join a small, senior engineering team, owning capital projects from concept to commissioning on a production line at real scale.

Role involves leading capital projects, optimizing processes, and ensuring equipment reliability while collaborating with plant leadership, EH&S, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering.
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering with direct capital project leadership.
• Hands-on experience with production equipment and line/process troubleshooting.
• Comfortable owning a project end to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from scope through startup including equipment upgrades.
• Drive capacity expansion and automation initiatives on the production line.

JBAndrews have partnered with a publicly listed Building Products manufacturer with multi-billion dollar revenue and manufacturing operations across the US and Europe.

They are seeking a Senior R&D Process Engineer to join the team at one of their facilities in Sikeston, MO.

You’ll join a small, senior engineering team, working directly alongside plant leadership and the product development function to take projects from concept through commissioning - owning capital projects, process optimization, and equipment reliability on a production line that runs at real scale.

What you'll do:

• Lead capital projects from scope through startup - equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, automation initiatives.
• Partner with product development on scale-up: prototype through production volume trials, quality, and process metrics.
• Own process troubleshooting and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality and EH&S.

What you'll bring:

• Mechanical, chemical, or process engineering degree
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, with direct capital project leadership
• Hands-on experience with production equipment - line/process troubleshooting, not just project management from a desk
• Comfortable owning a project end to end, not handing it off after design
