Job summary

JBAndrews has partnered with a publicly listed Building Products manufacturer to fill a Senior R&D Process Engineer role at their Tooele, UT facility. The successful candidate will join a senior engineering team, working with plant leadership and product development to move projects from concept through commissioning.

You will own capital projects, optimize processes, and improve equipment reliability on a production line at real scale, partnering with operations, maintenance, quality, and EH&S

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering with direct capital project leadership
• Hands-on experience with production equipment and line/process troubleshooting
• Capable of end-to-end project ownership and delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from scope through startup including equipment upgrades and capacity expansion
• Partner with product development on scale-up from prototype to productionquality and process metrics
• Own process troubleshooting and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor

JBAndrews have partnered with a publicly listed Building Products manufacturer with multi-billion dollar revenue and manufacturing operations across the US and Europe.

They are seeking a Senior R&D Process Engineer to join the team at one of their facilities in Tooele, UT.

You'll join a small, senior engineering team, working directly alongside plant leadership and the product development function to take projects from concept through commissioning - owning capital projects, process optimization, and equipment reliability on a production line that runs at real scale.

What you'll do:

• Lead capital projects from scope through startup - equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, automation initiatives.
• Partner with product development on scale-up: prototype through production volume trials, quality, and process metrics.
• Own process troubleshooting and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality and EH&S.

What you'll bring:

• Mechanical, chemical, or process engineering degree
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, with direct capital project leadership
• Hands-on experience with production equipment - line/process troubleshooting, not just project management from a desk
• Comfortable owning a project end to end, not handing it off after design
