Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an Assembly Process Engineer to join the Active Ceramics Value Stream. You will lead assembly and inspection processes for ceramic components in a hands-on manufacturing environment, ensuring on-time delivery and strict quality adherence.

You will supervise technicians, pursue continuous improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to qualify new equipment and processes. Onsite work is required, with strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 5+ years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day responsibilities to ensure on-time product delivery and quality.
• Diagnose process nonconformances and monitor process health.
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities within the Active Ceramics Manufacturing Operations.
