Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe is seeking a senior materials testing specialist to support the Metals Center of Excellence. You will set up and operate a wide range of testing equipment, analyze data, and provide technical insights to guide product development and quality decisions.

You will develop test methods, qualify equipment, and train junior staff while maintaining strict GDP and EHS guidelines. Collaboration with R&D, Quality, and cross-functional teams is essential to drive materials

Qualifications

8+ years of related experience in an R&D lab or medical device industry.
Strong knowledge of lab equipment and troubleshooting.
Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate materials testing equipment, including tensile, fatigue, and corrosion tests.
Perform testing, document results, and analyze data with proper records.
Develop and validate test methods and support equipment qualification activities.
Train and guide junior staff on procedures and best practices.
Identify improvement opportunities and implement better fixtures and methods.
