Markwins Beauty Brands, Inc. in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Sr. Manager, Research & Development to lead product formulation from concept to final shipping, focusing on color cosmetics and skin care while ensuring GMP compliance and FDA standards.

The role includes hands-on pilot batches and scaling to production. The ideal candidate will supervise chemists and technicians, collaborate with marketing and manufacturing, and drive formula innovation through stability testing and process

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other scientific discipline is required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience; minimum 7 years in color cosmetics formulation.

Mansioni

• Coordinate laboratory work and delegate assignments to chemists.
• Train and guide chemists, technicians and interns; encourage skill development.
• Develop new formulas for color cosmetics and skin care from concept to final shipping.
• Ensure GMPs and FDA requirements are met; transfer formulas to production with written procedures.
• Supervise stability and compatibility tests; collaborate with Quality to improve product quality.
