Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree minimum.
• 8+ years in technical research and development (graduate school inclusive).
• 5+ years for AMO and/or QC systems development/operation.
• 2+ years leading an advanced technical team; direct people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level design, build, and development for next-gen Quantinuum systems.
• Guide trade studies and analyses to reduce risks and mature concepts.
• Develop test plans and coordinate with subsystem leads (electrical, optical, microfabrication, software, vacuum, cryogenic).
• Set milestones, handoffs, gates, and manage resource allocation to meet milestones.
• Mentor, coach, hire, and develop direct-report engineers and scientists; manage performance.
• Collaborate with technical leadership and program managers to release working systems.
