Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior Quantum Computing Systems Engineer to help define system requirements for fault-tolerant quantum computing and collaborate with global teams across hardware, software, and firmware.

You will develop real-time error correction, calibration methods, and test strategies, translating product needs into technical specifications while fostering collaboration and innovation within the quantum computing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in physics, EE, CS, applied math, or related field.
• Higher degrees also welcome.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams and external partners to define system requirements for fault-tolerant quantum computing.
• Develop real-time quantum error correction and calibration approaches with rigorous systems analysis across qubit modalities.
• Distill product requirements to technical requirements across hardware, software, and firmware.
• Develop test cases supporting technical requirements and review test implementations for correctness and completeness.
• Adopt a culture of collaboration, rapid innovation, technical depth, and creative problem solving.
