Job summary

NVIDIA in the United States is seeking a seasoned engineer to join our Quantum Computing team, defining system requirements to enable fault-tolerant quantum computing and collaborating with internal and external teams worldwide.

You will work on real qubits, quantum control software, and real-time systems, translating product needs into technical specs, tests, and architectures, with a hybrid work model and eligibility for equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 5+ years of post-bachelor’s experience across multiple parts of a complex hardware/software system
• Hands-on experience with real qubits and quantum control systems software
• Interest in driving technology innovations into NVIDIA software/hardware products for Quantum Computing

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to define system requirements for fault-tolerant quantum computing
• Develop real-time quantum error correction and calibration approaches
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications for hardware, software, and firmware
• Develop test cases and review test implementations for correctness and completeness
• Foster collaboration, rapid innovation, technical depth, and creative problem solving
