Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect data, perform hardware characterization, troubleshoot issues, and generate technical reports while collaborating with vendors, customers, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or Doctorate in a relevant field.
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing or related processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create process, module, and device integration solutions for different platforms and quantum structures
• Work with different teams to develop new materials, processes, and structures for quantum devices
• Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments
• Troubleshoot complex problems and perform Root Cause Analysis
• Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reports
• Design and conduct experiments, measure material and device properties, and interpret data
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in device integration and quantum information
