Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Cameron site team, reporting to the Director of Project Controls. The role covers mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation scopes, with responsibilities spanning BOQ analysis, on-site quantity validation, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or commensurate work experience in a construction role.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial construction of industrial facilities including power generation and LNG plants.
• Experience working on client side as representation in the field.
• Demonstrated technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Self-motivated with direction and bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide quantity surveying for mechanical, piping, electrical, and/or instrumentation scopes.
• Analyze and prepare BOQs from IFC drawings; validate contractor quantities.
• Measure contractor progress on site and validate progress claims.
• Review and verify total installed quantities.
• Develop custom progress reports for critical work areas.
• Collaborate with scheduling to validate planned work sequences.
• Assist with reviewing quantities and pricing for change requests.
• Attend progress and planning meetings; report concerns.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Analyze project performance and validate productivity.
