Job summary

Currie & Brown in Phoenix, Arizona seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to provide cost management and commercial support on high-tech manufacturing projects, especially semiconductor tool installation. You will interpret complex drawings to ensure accurate budgeting and change control.

The role emphasizes cost reporting, procurement support, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. A strong technical background and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, AACE) preferred.
Experience on large-scale industrial, semiconductor, or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage payment applications, including review, assessment, and certification.
Assess, value, and negotiate change orders and variations.
Produce cost estimates, detailed cost plans, and benchmarking data.
Prepare and maintain project forecasts, including final cost projections.
Monitor project budgets and track cost performance against approved budgets.
