Job summary

Pathfinder L L C is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor in Houston, TX to orchestrate quantity takeoffs, validate BOQs and monitor contractor payments on data center projects. The role requires meticulous measurement and cross-checking against design documents and field data.

You will work with engineering, construction, estimators and contracts teams to ensure accurate cost control and timely, auditable records of quantities and changes throughout rapid project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience with quantity takeoffs on large-scale industrial or data center projects.
• Ability to verify quantities against drawings and field measurements.
• Familiarity with BOQs and contractor quantity validation.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, models, and docs.
• Develop and reconcile BOQs and contractor quantity submissions.
• Verify installed quantities against drawings and field reports.
• Review contractor payment applications to confirm quantities and progress.
• Evaluate quantity growth from design changes and field conditions.
• Support estimators by validating quantities and reconciling estimates.
• Maintain quantity registers and auditable records of changes.
• Verify field progress with construction teams.
• Challenge contractor submissions when warranted.
