Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in economics, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, health services research, or related field; Masters with causal inference coursework considered.
• Senior Researcher: at least five years of full-time experience with leadership of teams or projects.
• Strong quantitative skills; training in causal inference preferred.
• Knowledge of state health policy and programs desirable.
• Experience with healthcare/public health data sources is preferred.
• Proficiency with R, Python, or STATA and familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to apply rigorous quantitative methods, causal inference, data management, and econometric analysis.
• Draft reports, presentations, memos, policy briefs, and dashboards for diverse audiences.
• Contribute to proposals for new research projects.
• Share expertise and mentor other research staff.
