My client is looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to partner directly with fundamental portfolio managers and analysts. Your research will be integral to identifying opportunities and developing systematic overlays to complement discretionary views.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with fundamental PMs to understand their investment strategies and identify areas where quantitative analysis can add value.
• Design, develop, and implement strategies to support idea generation, risk management, and portfolio construction.
• Work with factor models, risk models, and scenario analysis tools tailored to specific portfolios.
• Present research findings and actionable insights to investment teams in a clear and impactful manner.
• Stay current with academic and industry research, bringing new ideas and techniques to the team.

Qualifications :

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in a quantitative research role within a hedge fund, asset manager, or proprietary trading firm.
• Proven track record of applying quantitative techniques to support or enhance fundamental investment processes.
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Solid understanding of financial markets, portfolio theory, and risk management concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between quantitative and fundamental investment teams.
• Self-starter mentality with a passion for collaborating and innovating in a dynamic environment.
