TL;DR

We are looking for a talented Senior Applied Scientist to work on multiple ML solutions, from requirements and literature to product deployment. You will own key processes, influence data acquisition, labeling, strategy, and follow-up, impacting millions of users.

About the role

• Be the eleventh engineer in the ML team, collaborating with talented professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Take full ownership of your ML projects or work on major topics with teammates, influencing decisions and strategies.
• Master the entire pipeline, from training models to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop new features, applications, and innovative solutions.
• Receive quick user feedback, iterate rapidly, and make data-driven decisions.
• Work within a small, multicultural team of approximately 75 passionate colleagues.

About you

• 3+ years experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax, with a willingness to focus on PyTorch.
• Deep expertise with diffusion models for image creation or editing, including training from scratch or advanced modifications.
• Pragmatic, prioritizing speed and leveraging frameworks to avoid reinventing the wheel.
• Experience with complex architectures in product contexts.
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and ability to make technical and product decisions.
• Experience in fast-growing startups and collaborative teams.
• Curious, eager to learn and share knowledge, humble in approach.
• Fluent in English; French is not required.
