Job summary

Merck is seeking a Senior Scientist in Quantitative Pharmacology to support oncology pipelines within the QP2-IO group. You will join cross-functional teams of experienced scientists, leading model-based translational PK/PD strategies, clinical trial simulations, and dose selection decisions.

Qualifications

Educational background in biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacometrics, chemical/biomedical engineering, or a related field.
Experience in performing population PK, PK/PD analyses using standard pharmacometrics software (e.g. NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix, etc).
Good written and verbal communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and problem scoping and planning.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of model-based strategies for quantitative analyses to inform drug discovery and development.
Represent QP2-IO on oncology discovery and development teams, driving streamlined development of programs.
Collaborate with other functional areas, external vendors and partners on study design, execution, reporting and interpretation.
