Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Finance.
• Plus 1 year of experience in advanced quantitative analyses, model development and monitoring for large organizations (>10,000 employees) in the financial services industry.
• Experience with processing large-scale datasets and applying statistical techniques and data visualization to communicate insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to perform data analyses, data mining, experimental design, and optimization to develop statistical models for retail and lending product coverage.
• Identify opportunities to improve strategies and processes through data-based analyses.
• Design and implement segmentation initiatives based on customer behavior and transactional profiles.
• Provide analytics for transaction monitoring decisioning and optimization to mitigate losses.
• Deliver presentations with empirically tested recommendations to business partners and management.
• Design, evaluate and validate statistical models to identify different types of customer behaviors.
• Handle, manipulate and analyze large datasets involving billions of transaction records using Big Data tools.
• Assist in model documentation.
• Establish and maintain performance tracking to ensure strategies perform as expected.
