PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Quantitative Analytics and Model Development Analyst Senior to join the AML Analytics & Modeling team.

You will design and validate statistical models, analyze billions of transactions, and present insights to business partners. Requires Master’s in Economics/Applied Economics/Engineering/Statistics/Math or Finance plus 1 year of relevant experience; strong SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark; ML, time series, ROC curves, and Tableau

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Finance.
• 1 year of experience in advanced quantitative analyses, model development and monitoring for large organizations.
• Experience with large-scale datasets, including billions of transactions.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Hadoop and Spark; able to manipulate and interpret data.
• Ability to design data visualizations and communicate insights to leadership.
• Experience with ROC curves, time series, machine learning, hypothesis testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the organization to analyze data, mine data, and improve statistical models.
• Develop segmentation strategies based on customer behavior and transactional analysis.
• Provide analytics for transaction monitoring decisioning and loss mitigation.
• Deliver empirically tested recommendations to business partners and management.
• Design, evaluate and validate models to identify customer behaviours.
• Work with large datasets using Big Data tools and document model results.
