Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with wire and cable testing, fiber optic, nuclear, flame testing.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Strong computer and data analysis skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with a drive to complete projects.

Responsibilities

• Confers with Engineering to interpret specifications and ensure testing.
• Assist with corrective actions and 6S events.
• Support Layered Process Audits; interact with customers, inspectors and auditors.
• Assist in updating claim sheets and dashboards.
• Lead associates to perform tests and report quality data.
• Investigate returned products and coordinate corrective actions.
• Interact with customer visits (offsite or onsite) as needed.
• Interact with suppliers for audits and material concerns.
• Serve as internal auditor for Willimantic and other facilities.
• Assist the lab when needed.
• Perform related duties as directed by Quality Manager.
