Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to lead root cause analysis, determine process capability, and drive corrective action effectiveness in machining, GD&T, and inspection.

You will collaborate with production teams to reduce scrap, implement practical improvements, and support engineering with experiments and RCCA activities. This role requires hands-on quality control expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing, mechanical or quality engineering experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow instructions in English.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsabilités

• Investigate root cause of chronic scrap sources using machining, GD&T, and inspection methods.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework.
• Collaborate with Performance Leaders and Quality engineering on RCCA plans.
• Prepare and review production inspection plans and first article inspections.
• Audit processes for capability and ensure operator training.
