Job summary

Divergent is building the new industrial age, assembling advanced systems for aerospace and automotive programs in the United States. The Senior Manager, Quality Systems Engineering will own the Enterprise Quality Management System and drive the Digital Quality Management System, aligning governance, data ownership, and risk management with the overall program roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing a team, including direct people management.
• Experience planning and conducting internal audits and supporting external registrar or customer audits.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Experience administering an electronic QMS or document control platform.
• Preferred: Lead Auditor certification or AS9100/ISO 9001/IATF16949 proficiency.
• Experience deploying quality systems software and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the Enterprise QMS end to end, aligning policy, procedure, and work instruction hierarchy.
• Lead development of DQMS, defining functional and data requirements and coordinating with software/IT teams.
• Manage audit programs, registrar interactions, and CAPA processes for systemic closure.
• Sustain certifications across AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 with surveillance readiness.
• Lead and develop the Quality Systems Engineering team and document control function.
