Job summary

Divergent in Los Angeles is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role will lead quality control initiatives, implement continuous improvement processes, and help drive the highest standards in production to meet customer and industry expectations.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor quality staff, manage audits, and deploy scalable QC plans and new inspection technologies to align with company objectives and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or defense with AS9100/ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
• Experience hosting audits and managing QMS.
• Experience in SPC and CpK analyses.
• Six Sigma (Green Belt) or CQE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audits and CAPAs to drive improvements.
• Host customer and third‑party audits of the QMS.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive process changes.
• Develop dashboards and reports for real‑time quality visibility.
• Mentor team members and support cross‑functional problem solving.
