Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Systems Engineering to own the Enterprise Quality Management System and drive the Digital Quality Management System program. You will lead cross-functional teams to align documentation, governance, and certification activities with aerospace and automotive standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing a team, including direct people management.
• Experience planning and conducting internal audits and supporting external registrar or customer audits

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the Enterprise QMS end to end — the policy, procedure, and work instruction hierarchy that defines how Divergent designs, industrializes, and produces.
• Lead the development effort in partnership with software, IT, and data engineering, acting as the owner who sets priority and sequence rather than as a downstream requestor.
• Build depth in audit practice, root cause methodology, and QMS administration so that the program does not depend on any single individual.
• Own the internal audit schedule, auditor qualification, finding classification, and escalation path.
