Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Extensive quality experience in a manufacturing environment, especially receiving inspection or quality operations.
Proven track record in leading, coaching, and developing Quality Technicians or inspection teams.
Strong knowledge of receiving inspection methodologies, GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection technologies.
Experience in developing standardized inspection plans and instructions.
Proficient in quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Quality Technicians, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
Design and refine inspection protocols to ensure uniform evaluation of incoming materials across product lines.
Set inspection priorities and manage resources to support production schedules while upholding quality standards.
Ensure Quality Technicians are trained in inspection methods and measurement technologies, maintaining standardized work.
Identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology and Lean methodologies.
Lead investigations into supplier and incoming material quality issues, including containment and root cause analysis.
Oversee NCR activity to ensure timely resolution and identification of systemic corrective actions.
Analyze receiving inspection performance metrics and drive supplier quality improvements.
