Job description

You will help us implement programs within given functional area of the food safety and quality group. You will provide support to the plant to remain compliant with the relevant Quality procedures and the daily execution of activities related to Quality. You will work onsite in the Russellville, AR facility and report to the Quality Manager. You may have to spend time on other shifts to support the Quality programs on other shifts.

Position Responsibilities

  • You will help us gather and evaluate data to understand trends and issues to provide input to decisions related to product safety and quality in areas of assigned responsibility.
  • You will oversee others in the organization.
  • You will provide technical support and data analysis in managing situations and issues relative to quality and food safety.
  • You will collaborate with other departments in the plant and in corporate locations to assure, food safety and quality of company products.
  • You will help us design and implement processes within assigned technical area(s) of responsibility.
  • You will participate on teams to assure implementation and adherence of QA projects and process improvement of our suppliers.
  • Interfaces/provide technical support to appropriate functions and employees to assure regulatory compliance, food safety and quality of company products.
  • You will communicate with company facilities to facilitate an ongoing relationship with packaging material suppliers.
  • Evaluate effectiveness and assure continuous improvement in assigned responsibilities.
  • You will collaborate outside of FPRA organization to improve the effectiveness with regards to food safety and quality.

Position Qualifications

  • BS in Food, Biological or Chemical Science or related field required.
  • 5 years industry experience required.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility
  • Knowledge of food safety, food manufacturing processes, technologies or other relevant responsibilities.

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
