What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct daily audits of RCM accounts to ensure accuracy based on QA policies and procedures
- Document and maintain QA findings, generating monthly summary reports for management
- Communicate quality deficiencies to staff and provide educational feedback
- Identify common errors and deficiencies, reporting them to management for process improvement
- Assist in training new staff on QA policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Five (5) + years of related RCM QA audit experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of RCM billing systems
- Good computer skills, including the ability to manage multiple screens effectively
- Associate degree in RHIT preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in training new staff in QA processes
- Familiarity with information systems security policies and procedures
- Previous experience in healthcare or ambulatory surgery center settings
