Job summary

The Senior Technician in the TQR team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor will collect, analyze, and verify data from reliability tools to ensure product quality and reliability. The role also oversees tool preventive maintenance and minor repairs within the TQR Lab.

The position requires moving wafers, running evaluations, and presenting results, with emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy. This is a full-time, on-site role in Texas.

• Associate degree or related technical certification.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Work outside a clean room but access may be needed for wafers pickup/drop-off.
• Manually move 300mm FOSBs with 25 wafers, run evaluations with proprietary software, and summarize data using Excel/PowerPoint.
• Develop and execute PM procedures and coordinate PM/repairs with vendors.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and accountability for errors.

Position Summary

The Senior Technician in the TQR team will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and verifying data from various reliability tools to ensure the quality and reliability of Samsung Austin Semiconductor products. Additionally, this position will oversee tool preventive maintenance and minor repair activities within the TQR Lab.

Role And Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• The job function is located outside a clean room environment, but requires occasional clean room access to pick up or drop WFs.
• The TQR Technician will need to manually move 300mm FOSBs containing 25 wafers, run evaluations using proprietary software, and summarizing the data using Excel/PowerPoint.
• TQR Technician will need to operate/develop PM procedure and arrange PM/Repairs with Vendors.
• Strong attention to detail is required with accountability for errors.

Skills And Qualifications

Here’s what you'll need:

• Associate degree or related technical certification.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in high volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

The current base salary range for this role is between $31.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
