Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality engineering roles of increasing responsibility.
• Current ISO 9001 auditor certification internal or upon hire, must obtain Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001
• Proficiency in core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and control plans
• Strong problem-solving skills using 8D, DMAIC, and 5 Whys
• Strong leadership and ability to drive cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead digitization of the QMS across sites, including audits and EOLA
• Protect defects from reaching consumers by addressing quality issues at plants
• Coach cross-functional teams on QMS documentation and QSP content
• Develop and implement plan to address QSP gaps
• Assist with Windchill document conversions to standardized templates
• Provide CAPA/CAR mentorship and train 9-Step QMS processes
• Lead QMS meetings and drive ISO internal/external audits
• Collaborate on implementing new software affecting QMS
• Travel to manufacturing locations for coaching and audits
• Support NPI and ensure QMS compliance during new product introductions
