Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA and continuous improvement at the Tampa site. You will drive ISO-9000 activities, manage a small quality team, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with Production, Engineering, and Site CI to meet quality targets.

The role requires strong change management, communication, and hands-on problem-solving to maintain compliance and elevate product quality across value streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing oriented disciplines with at least five years or more experience successfully leading Quality improvement efforts.
• Experience with ISO-9000 standard and deployment of ISO-9000 systems.
• Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, and COPQ measurement systems; Green/Black Belt certification is desired.
• Formal training in quality practices including statistical analysis, auditing, and process control.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, 8-D, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, etc. preferred.
• Process-flow and value stream mapping understanding; strong team collaboration and communication.
• Ability to initiate and lead significant change; teach and train others.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Assurance and Process Improvement programs for all Tampa operations.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management System; drive ISO-9000 certification and accreditation.
• Establish Quality Dashboard and report performance to stakeholders.
• Perform final quality and safety inspections across all value streams and ensure regulatory tests.
• Integrate quality tools across departments and improve processes to reduce rework and costs.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and training on quality improvement tools.
• Promote a culture of excellence in customer service and quality.
