Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Quality Assurance & Process Improvement Manager for a premier Cincinnati manufacturing site. The role blends QA compliance, floor troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure right-first-time product release across four lines in FDA/SQF/ISO frameworks.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of 2 Quality Coordinators and 2 QA Engineers, drive regulatory readiness, and guide the implementation of a cloud-based QMS while partnering with manufacturing leadership to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, food science, biology, or quality management.
• 5+ years in QA or manufacturing leadership in regulated environments.
• Experience in FDA-regulated facilities within pharma excipients, cosmetics, or food.
• GMP, ISO, SQF knowledge; PCQI preferred or willing to obtain.
• Structured problem-solving (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, Kaizen) on the floor.
• Strong verbal and written communication; coaching peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline root-cause investigations on the production floor.
• Contribute to QMS modernization and cloud-based rollout.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and customers; ensure trust.
• Maintain audit readiness for ISO 9001, ISO 17025, SQF compliance.
• Oversee product release safeguards to meet GMP requirements.
