Job summary

Rocketdyne is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality & Mission Assurance (QMA) to lead the Mason, Ohio facility. You will manage a ~30-person team across Quality Engineering, Quality Control and Receiving/Inspection, ensuring conformance to contractual and regulatory requirements throughout design, manufacture, and test.

You will champion defect prevention, product integrity, and timely delivery while collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Program Management.

Qualifications

Seasoned leader with broad experience across related professional disciplines.
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or graduate degree with 10+ years in quality/mission assurance.
In lieu of a degree, 16+ years of related experience may apply.
Experience managing quality or mission assurance functions in aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership across Quality Engineering, Quality Control and Receiving/Inspection.
Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Execute site QMA strategy aligned to objectives and standards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, DMAIC, FMEA.
Ensure certification and compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and gov't requirements.
Report performance to senior leadership and manage budgets.
