Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Quality Metrology Engineer to lead precision measurements using portable metrology systems and to drive MSA per AIAG and ISO standards.

You will interpret GD&T, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to training programs for equipment usage and data reporting. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in quality with laser scanning tools, and strong software proficiency (CATIA/3DX, MSA, Minitab, Power BI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required.
• At least 5 years in quality with laser scanner/portable metrology tools experience.
• Strong GD&T skills with prior metrology hardware/software experience.
• Knowledge of QMS standards (AS9100/AS9110/ISO9000).
• Software proficiency including MS Office, Minitab, CAMs, CATIA/3DX, MES, Power BI, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise measurements using portable metrology systems and develop/verify results.
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) per AIAG MSA and ISO 9001:2015 to improve measurement reliability.
• Interpret GD&T and design specifications using CATIA V5/V6, 3DX, SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with training to create programs for equipment familiarization and operator training.
• Develop solutions to moderately complex problems and assist in fabrication/quality standards.
