Job summary

Bell Textron in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Senior Quality Metrology Engineer to lead inspection strategy, data analysis, and tool development for aerospace manufacturing. You will apply GD&T, select metrology technologies, and develop training and reporting to ensure product acceptance and process improvement.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross‑functional teams, strong communication, and adherence to AS9100/ISO9001 standards while advancing on-machine inspection and measurement system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in quality with laser scanner/portable metrology tools.
• Strong GD&T skills and application with metrology hardware/software.
• Knowledge of QMS standards (AS9100/AS9110/ISO9001).
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection capabilities and develop standardized technique sheets.
• Identify new measurement technologies to support manufacturing and customers.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to tailor metrology approaches.
• Develop training programs for equipment usage and reporting.
• Solve moderately complex problems to improve quality and efficiency.
