Bell Textron in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Senior Quality Metrology Engineer to lead inspection strategy, data analysis, and tool development for aerospace manufacturing. You will apply GD&T, select metrology technologies, and develop training and reporting to ensure product acceptance and process improvement.

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
This position is on site in Fort Worth at Bell’s Rotors and Composite Center.Could occasionally assist other DFW facilities as needed.
Review current inspection capabilities to identify gaps and opportunities for improving efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability, and develop standardized inspection technique sheets for process setup and execution of metrology inspections used for product acceptance.
Identify and integrate new measurement technologies and methodologies to support manufacturing and customer needs, including on-machine inspection, equipment advancements, and alignment with modern industry standards such as ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
