Qualifications

• Progressively responsible quality experience in precision-machined parts.
• Strong AS9100 experience including internal & external audits.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
• Experience leading a quality team and coordinating audits.
• Familiarity with CMM and vision inspection systems.
• Proven root-cause analysis and corrective-action skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality department and manage 2–3 inspection staff.
• Maintain and improve the AS9100 QMS across the operation.
• Oversee first article, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Coordinate audits with customers, registrars, and suppliers.
• Perform and review First Article Inspection documentation.
• Train operators in GD&T, measurements, and inspection methods.
• Lead continuous improvement, SPC, and lean initiatives.
• Ensure gauges and inspection equipment are calibrated and controlled.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with engineering.
