Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or quality discipline with 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• 5+ years of quality experience including 2+ years leading a quality team.
• Proven ownership of IATF 16949 QMS through audits.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan).
• Strong structured problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) and statistics (SPC, MSA).
• Ability to read engineering drawings including GD&T.
• IATF 16949 internal auditor qualification or within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication with all levels; experience with suppliers/customers.
• Experience with precision machined products and regulatory requirements (IMDS, REACH, ROHS).
• Lead Auditor CQE or CMQ/OE certifications preferred.
• Travel – up to 20% for visits.
• Valid driver’s license; MVR check.

Aufgaben

• Own FEMA’s quality management system and its conformance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.
• Serve as FEMA’s quality management system representative and primary contact for the certification body, and lead audits.
• Maintain the customer-specific requirements list and deploy those requirements into FEMA’s processes.
• Set quality objectives and present quality data at management review; coordinate review inputs and actions to closure.
• Lead the internal audit program (system, manufacturing process, and product audits) and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Manage the corrective action (CAPA / 8D) system, including closure tracking and effectiveness verification.
• Control release of product from quality hold.
• Lead the Material Review Board and nonconformance disposition with Engineering.
• Approve deviations and concessions, including customer authorization when required.
• Approve temporary changes to process controls, including verification and return to standard methods.
• Reduce aging and disposition cycle time of hold and nonconforming inventory.
• Lead the quality team including inspection and calibration staff with training and performance reviews.
• Report cost of poor quality and drive improvements using Lean Six Sigma and structured problem solving.
• Support document control, records, and training; development of students; participate in ISO 14001 committees.
